Wait until you feel comfortable with the idea that you might get pregnant. Then when you feel comfortable with that think of the other possibilities, having a baby, him gone, going to live with your parents or parent, your mother raising your child while you work, signing up for food stamps and welfare. Trying to find a real relationship with guys you would like to marry and them rejecting you because they don't want a ready made family. When you are comfortable with all of these go for it and have fun.

You should wait to have sex until you're ready to be pregnant with that person.

Great sex is great sex, but with great pleasure can come great responsibilities.

There are OTHER things you can do besides sex to enjoy each other, anyway. Why not take it slow?

Men and women are different. A woman should wait until she can visually rule out disease and then still require a condom.

Of course, birth control pillls are mandatory to prevent pregnancy.

I agree with the require a condom comment, as condoms should be used all the time for protection from STDs. But I don't understand the "visually rule out disease" comment. Not all STDs are visual such as genital warts are visual.

Back to the OP. You mentioned college and alcohol, and when it's right to have sex. Alcohol should have nothing to do with it unless you are talking about one night stands in college. When having one night stands you never know what disease you might get, including but not limited to pregnancy.

I think you should wait until you both have trust with each other. Which would probably take quite a long time.
