    Moen shower faucet diverter
The diverter on our Moen showertrol single handle faucet does not pop in and out as it should--I have tried to grease it but to no avail. Should the diverter be replaced and if so how? Thank you.

No-those images are not like my Moen shower faucet--it is a single pullout handle in the middle with a pencil thin push/pull diverter under the control knob--it is this diverter that does not move in and out properly--thank you.
