My friend was arrested a few days ago for felony probation Violation. She was only arrested for failure to report or pay. She has not reported in 6 or 7 months. She has not caught any new charges. She is behind 565.00 and has the money to pay the behind payment. Will she be able to pay the money and be released or will they require that she spends some time in jail.

The fact she did not report in for 6 months is not good. It is good that she can pay the fine money that she is behind. This may help her, but it's going to be up to the judge what happens to her if she spends time in jail or not. It also depends on how long she was to be on probation and how many months she completed before she failed to show up. She won't be getting out on bail either and she won't be leaving jail until her probation violation hearing.
