I am replacing a mercury thermostat with a digital Holeywell RTH230B.

I have six wires coming out of the Wall. White, Yellow, Green, Red, Orange, and Blue.

I ran the White to W, Green to G, Yellow to Y, Red to Rh, and Orange to Rc.

It does not work in Auto, and the heat and cool are opposite in the thermostat.

Move the orange to 0 and put a jumper wire from rh to rc

There is not an O with the thermostat

If you have a heat pump and not an 0 on the thermostat, you have the wrong thermostat
