Do you have a sprinkler system with a check valve or a backflow preventer installed? Has your water been hotter then usual lately? Sounds like you need a expansion tank installed on the water heater cold water supply. Good luck, TomQuote:

Wouldn't hurt to check the temperature and the pressure and find out that the T&Pvalve hasn't failed... right John?
T&P valves blow off in case of excessive temperature (212 degrees F) or excessive pressure (150 PSI).
Excessive temp. can occur if thermostat doesn't shut the gas valve off. Excessive pressure can result from excessive temperature or excessive water pressure from faulty pump or faulty pressure regulator, etc... why they install T&P valves at water heaters.
Anyway, never a bad idea to check that temperature does not exceed 125 degrees F or so (use candy thermometer or go to home depot and purchase high temp. thermometer). Also, not a bad idea to check pressure using a pressure tester that screws onto outside faucet (also sold at home depot... see picture). House pressure should not exceed 80 PSI.
I'm guessing that issue is related to what Tom has suggested... but let's see what Michelle has to say, never know, could be any of these above!

Hey Michelle, you got some good folks helping you here. Just so you don't get confused or confuse us lets get our wording on the same page. You say the leak is at the " pressure relief valve" but that is not what its called. In some posts you'll see the abbreviation PRV but that is a pressure reducing valve not part of the water heater. I think the valve at the top is a Pressure and Temperatue Valve like Mark talks about. They do start to leak at 210 degrees and 150 psi so do not assume a leaker isn't doing its job. Since you have two leakers lets test that temp and pressure. Do you know how to test the psi?
