Please tell me what you think it is. I would love to help you, but the site requires that you at least try your own homework first.
Once you tell me what you think, I'll either tell you that you are correct, or help you come up with the correct reason and why.
NONE. It should be "Meatballs and spaghetti ARE my favorite meals".
Meatballs and spaghetti are your subject so linking verb must me plural because there's word "and" pertaining to addition of another thing. Predicate "meals" muct be plural too because you are pertaining to "meatballs and spaghetti".
Incorrect. Meatballs and Spaghetti is one meal, not two.Quote:

That is correct, but Spaghetti and meatballs is one meal. Not two separate meals, as you have two separate actresses above.
I don't know there but our mc donald's meal here says " Chicken w/ spaghetti"
So if she said "SPAGHETTI WITH MEATBALLS IS MY FAVORITE MEAL." Then that's right or My favorite meal is Spaghetti with meatballs.
The question is about ENGLISH grammar, my minor in college was English, I live in the US and I was a legal secretary for 10 years. I think I know my english. LOL
Your McDonalds sells spaghetti? Really?
I understand your point. BUT Not all Spaghetti has meatballs.
There you go... you are starting to get it. I just hope the OP is starting to get it too.
Does your McDonald's really sell spaghetti? Wow, my kids would have me there every day if they sold that here.
Yes. Mc donald's here has spaghetti. I took journalism in college, I speak english everyday even if its not my mother tongue because I talk to americans (I work in a call center) and my calls are audited everyday.
I'd like to know if Teach has come up with the answer yet.
If spaghetti and meatballs there are like "ham and egg" here, considered as one ALWAYS (even not all Spaghetti has meatballs), then it should be "meatballs and spaghetti is my favorite meal" NO .2 but definitely not "Meatballs and spaghetti ARE my favorite meal" same grammatical structure of No.3. only much more formal but not conversational.
2& 3 are right.
