Scar tissue buildup from a c-section
I had a c-section over 11 years ago. After my son was 2 I started getting pains in the incision from the surgery. I dealt with it for a couple years till I started feeling a lump where it hurts. So I went to a dr & he gave me a cortisone shot. That helped for about 6 months. A couple years later it was hurting again so I went to a new dr & told him about it & he gave me a cortisone shot again. We now it is hurting again. This "lump" is almost the size of a half dollar. Should I see another dr & get another opinion or just keep getting cortisone shots. This is a constant pain & seems to get stronger after my period. Should I be worried about this lump that keeps hurting?

Apparently you have what is known as a keloid scar, but rather than on the outside it is on the inside.

What kind of doctor have you seen about this? Have you seen a surgeon? Or even a plastic surgeon?
