    Trying to conceive
Hi there this is my first time of using this site but I feel I have no option but to ask an online doc as the practice I use is terrible.
My partner and I are trying for our first child. We feel we are financially and mentally ready as we have had a steady home life together for 3 years now and have been togther for 5 . I am so confused though on all the facts on Conception as I've been feeling " different" this month. I was on the pill for 4 years and came off it last February. As advised by my GP we gave it a few months for the pill to get out my system before trying. We have been trying for a couple of months now( hardly any time I no) but this month I feel weird. Today I am on around day 20 of my cycle approx( still trying to count my cycle length) but this last two weeks I've felt a really really strong urge to want to be with my partner more. We are a very close couple anyway and can talk about everything. But its not even always sexually. Just to sit next to him or texts etc. I feel this is down to a new exciting change in our relationship maybe? But the last couple of days I've been terribly moody. I carnt stop sweating and feel really warm then go all goose pimply and cold. Am I ill maybe? But I've also got cramping in my stomach for about two days. Quite similar to menstrual cramps. So could I be coming on my period? Please help we understand everything about pregnancy and bring kids up. But books and resources only brush over Conception. Please help I don't understand what my bodies going through. I have also have a nausious feeling the last two weeks everyday. Maybe because I'm run down. And also headaches like you wouldn't believe. Please help me
    With love

You could be starting your period, you could be pregnant, you could be ill. There's no one here that can daignose you online though. Unfortunately. Going to your doctor is the best bet. But I would wait it out for a while. When are you supposed to start your period?

    Hi Baby dust,
My partner and I were trying for 8 months after I came off the pill before anyting happened. I thought every month I was pregnant until I took the test and it was negative. Sumhow my brain managed to convince my body I was though(strange I know) I think once I stopped obsessing about it and just enjoyed the pratcising it seemed to happen naturally. I know this doesn't help much but all I can say is have fun and it will happen. Good luck!!
