I was wondering if a Writ of enforcement will affect a person from getting a Marriage License ,in Canada ?
    Thanks

    Hello c:

Well, they're attempting to enforce a prior judgment, apparently. Why don't you tell us what it is, before we answer your question?

Yes you are right they are .
Even though it I can't what the difference would be from one judgment to another ,
A writ of enforcement is just that,
As I spoke in my other questions about the same problem , I was involved in a car accident .
Around 12 or 13 years ago . I was uninsured hit by someone that ran a red.
Since I was young and didn't have a care in the world or insurance , I was doomed .
Writ of enforcement went in to effect October 98 .over the years I have tried contacting the lawery , I gave up few years back when no at the law firm could help me finding my file , as the case number had been changed or lost, from the switch from paper to computers.
Before that I tried to make a deal ,but I never heard back from her.

Hope that clears the air there.

    Hello again, c:

Well, kind of. It appears that the writ was to enforce a MONEY judgment that has NOTHING to do with your intended. Therefore, THIS writ won't stop you from getting married.

    This is Great news ,
Now stupid question here , I know your in the states but people are people .
Up here is the upper cold north , statue of limitations 10 years on a writ.
Now the Queen's bench they can renew it before the expire date . What do you feel the chances are this will happen .Like I said above I hard a hell of time with the law firm.I'm wondering maybe they will have problems or something too.
