    Repair shower diverter
Bath water runs fine, but diverter fails to divert water to shower (no water at all). Is this a fix or replace job - best guess.
    Thanks

Is your diverter in the valve or on the spout? Let me know, tom

It's in the valve (I think), between the knobs for the hot and cold water. Definitely not on the spout.
    Thanks.

Leave the hot and cold shut off while you remove the diverter stem and washer assembly, (see image). Replace the washers and before you button up just crack the hot and cold to flush out any crud or washer parts that may be in there. Good luck, Tom
