    Buying an old house
    Hello my name is wendy
I was wondering, can I buy a house by just paying the unpaid taxes of an old house or is not possible? I have seen a old house with a lot of damage but I think we a good fixing is going to be my great dream house. How can I figure out if is on sale or whom are the owners?

    Hi, Wendy!

Greetings and WELCOME to the site! I just moved your question that you had posted in Introductions to this topic area so that it would get the most exposure to those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there.

We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little about yourself though, if you would be willing to do that.

In response to your question, I would think that it would depend on the laws where the house is located, so it would be good to know where it is located. Someone might come along who knows the specific laws governing the location.

    Thanks!
