July 08 I had heavy bleeding off and on for 4 weeks and was then told I had a polyp. My last period started 8/12/08 and I had a DNC to remove a small polyp 9/4/08. I am normally every 28 days and was due to start my period 9/9/08 but haven't. Would removing the polyp stop my period from coming this month because of the lite spotting after the surgery?

It could have... it's not unsual to have it take a bit of time for things to become regular again. For some women it happens right on schedule, for others it may be off a bit at first. Much depends on where in your cycle you were when the procedure was done.
