I am a very long probation sentence in AZ. I have heard is next to impossible to transfer. But I have no one here. Me and my kids need to be near my family. My son's father is here, and I know he will fight this. What steps do I need to take to get out of here and what is the likelihood that it will all happen?

You need to go before a Judge with your proof of why it's necessary to transfer. Keep in mind that the other side will NOT want you to transfer and representation by an Attorney might be necessary.

I think you could EASILY transfer your probation, contrary to what you heard. The problem you're going to have, however, is with the family court judge. I doubt he'll let you take your son unless you have a compelling reason to do so. Your needing to be near YOUR family isn't reason enough to take him away from HIS family.
