Your taxes? Write IRS and ask for a copy - there may be a form on line. Or you can simply write.

See: Tax Topics - Topic 156 Copy of Your Tax Return – How to Get One

In essence - you can order a transcript of your data for free in about 2 weeks - it lists all the data from your return in a shortened form. Or you can request an actual copy of your paper return, but that takes 60 days and will cost you $39.

You can get transcripts for free. Transcripts have all the information and serves most of the requirements.

If you had the taxes prepared by a professional, conatct the professional. He/she can either photocopy their file copy or print off a fresh copy from their tax software for a minimal handling fee.

I typically charge $10 for this service and mail the return (or email a PDF copy of the return) the day I get payment.

Didn't you read the earlier posts in this thread?? Follow the link to the IRS web site that I provided in post #3.

    JonMiller81:

Unless you filed on-line, you will NOT be able to view it on-line.

Further, most on-line tax websites deny access to the past year's return after a certain date for security reasons.

I will add for a reference, if you live near a IRS office, you merely go in, with valid ID, and they will print and hand you a copy of your earnings record and also of your filings. I went into the Atlanta office yesterday and they were nice, fast and friendly.
