    Is she pregnant?
    Hi,
My name is Ben and I am a 20 year old man from England! I have been with my girlfriend for nearly 2 years now and everything has been fine, her periods are quite regular and she has been taking the pill correctly so we've been having unprotected sex. About a week ago she noticed a small amount of discharge when she went to the toilet and just recently has found pinkish spots of blood too. She has been to the doctors who advised her to wait for her period and then go back, but to be honest... we would rather wait for paint to dry. She has no other symptoms from what I am aware.. no sore breasts or cramp or anything I just thought I would see if anyone could give me some advice! Is it too early to take a pregnancy test? does the blood automatically mean she is pregnant? What should we do?

    She could be.
I probably wouldn't hurt to do a home pregancis test

Women can get random bleeding between periods when they are on the pill (it's called breakthrough bleeding) so it's likely to be that. The best thing to do is follow the doctors advice. If she's been taking her pill correctly it's unlikely (but obviously possible) that she's pregnant.

True enough that women can get breakthrough bleeding, however, the pill is not perfect. She should go to the doc and have a serum (blood) test done. I am proof that the pill does not always work. I have 4 kids and 3 were conceived while on the pill.
