Would this furnace be suitable for me?
I have a chance to buy a Rheem gas furnace, 105,000. BTU with 92 efficienty rating.
It was for natural gas but has been converted to Propane. Can it be converted back to
Natural gas? There is a 3 1/2 ton air conditioning unit with it as well which sits outside the
House. My house is 900 sq. ft. with 700 sq.ft. in basement. I am using now an old
Furnace that was in the house when I bought it. It is very old and is not efficient at all.
The furnace I looked at is 7 years old. Asking price $400.00 for all. Would this be a
Good buy since I have to hire someone to install it along with a converter kit etc. I live
In a cold climate in Indiana. Thanks for helping me with this problem

First you do not count basements in your heat or A/C calculation.

Second the equipment you are looking at is WAY to large for your small home.
This will cause major problems if you buy and install it in your home.

To large is NEVER good since the furnace will short cycle and the A/C will never get the moisture out of the home since it will have a very short run time due to it being about twice the size that you really need.

Sometimes what you think is a good deal also brings along many problems like size that there is really no way to correct.
