What should I do about childsupport?
I am a mother of 3, 2 of which live with me fulltime. I signed custody over to my oldest daughters father after my mother kidnapped her when she was 4. Her father and I had a verbal agreement that I would not have to pay childsupport until I got on my feet. She is now 9yrs old and I have not paid a penny. He is now wanting me to pay owed child support for the past 5 years and start paying regularly. I don't have a problem with paying childsupport but we had a verbal agreement, would that hold up in court or should I have gotten notrized agreement? Also if he takes me to court, I have 2 other children and I make 23,000 per year. He is a single dad with 1 child and makes 40-50,000 a year. What will the courts do. I don't know what to do.
