Is there such thing as withdrawal to milk?
I';m gettting bad migraines for several weeks. Could it be due to giving up milk?

Giving up milk is not a good idea anyway. Are you taking supplements for healthy bones and tissue?

Kelley I don't see a connection between giving up milk and migraines. But if you are having them, I would get checked out by your doctor to make sure there is no underlying condition causing them.

More likely it's antibiotics in the milk causing withdrawal symptoms. Also your gut microflora get used to digesting milk and when you stop drinking it the microflora have to get used to something else. This can take a period of several days or weeks and in the meantime you aren't digesting as well what you eat so low blood sugar headaches etc

Well if there are antibiotics in the milk, they would also kill probiotics. But they would help if she's using sterile, pasturized milk. If she stops drinking milk entirely probiotics will not help since they mostly digest milk. Try that probiotic yogurt they advertise on TV, it's great!
