I'm 18 and I just had my period the week of August 29. It hasn't been that long and I just started again. I haven't taking my birth control in a week either. I don't know if that would cause it.. what is going on?

I'm 19, and I skipped my birth control about 3 months ago, and had a period just about a week and a half after my last... it's prob. The birth control.

Think you should see an expert just to be sure

Check with your doctor to be sure, but going off your BCs can throw your hormones out of whack and may cause your period to be irregular.

If you were taking your birth control, then skipped a week, this is called breakthrough bleeding. Birth control must be taken like clockwork to be effective.
