Why does porcelain turn black with soot in a safety flame (incomplete Combustion) and turn white again in a roaring flame(complete Combustion)?
You can observe the same thing with glass. It has nothing to do with the material.
What do you think is happening?
(the clue is in the difference between complete and incomplete combustion - think about what you are using as fuel)
