I got my belly button pierced 3 months ago and it was going great. This Friday took the top screw ball off to clean the crusties off, and put it back on. About 3 hours later I went swimming and realized that it fell out. I finally found the peircing on Sunday. The hole looked pretty closed and I thought I wouldn't be able to put it back it. Well it took some effort but the hole was still there and it went in. Now I'm just worried that it will get really infected or something its bleeding. Im contemplating whether to keep it in or take it out let the hole close and get it repierced.


Can anyone help me?

You should check with the place that handled the piercing for you and use peroxide on it, to clean it out and aid in avoiding infection. Did you clean the ring before putting it back in?

My best advice would be to check it with a doctor. Piercings can easily get infected if nor duly cared for or the adequate higyene is used.
