    My bunny is sick
    Help me. I've been crying my eyes out for hours. Today I just found out that my bunny has like a small lump on his neck and he has hair loose. I just noticed it today and during this month he also was very sleepy and didn't eat a lot and drink. I'm worried and id ont think I can afford a vet right now help. Its an emergency!! 1

    How old is your rabbit? Does he have diarreaha? Is he caged with another rabbit? Is he indoors or out?

    There are so many possibilites, I cannot give you an accurate diagnosis over the internet, I'd have to see your bunny, even then, I'm not a vet, just someone who's had rabbits all my life.

    This is a bad time of year for rabbits. Fly strike is a very real possibility, and can be fatal within 24 hours. It is treatable, but only by a vet and only early on. Here's a link about fly strike;

    Fly Strike

    I would find a way to get him to the vet, rabbits can go downhill very quickly, the sooner you get this checked the better chance of survival. See if your vet will allow a payment plan.

    Good luck.

    Thanks and no he is a lonely bunny. He just had his birthday and is 1 year only :/ I'm qutie worried. I don't think he has fly strike. He always cleans himself and I do wash him because sometimes he has a slight smell which my mum hates. Thank you very much

    I'm sorry I couldn't be more help. Sadly bunnies are very finicky animals and can get sick very easily and quickly. Make sure to give him some timothy hay and perhaps a carrot will bring back his appetite. It could just be a bug bite that he's scratched.

    The best thing is to take him to the vet, but I know it's hard if you don't have the money.

    If you have any more questions or concerns, I'm here, and I will do my best to give you advice about your bunny.

    Keep me posted.
