Hi,

My Dad is now a EU citizen, from GOA.
And is he is yet to register his marriage at the Goa Portuguese consulate.

My question is, Can I know any ministry or Agent in Portugal who can expedite my dad's marriage registration in Portugal, so as his children would like to apply for the portuguese Nationality.

As the Goa Portuguese Consulate are very mean in helping my dad. I do not know why?
They say to get an appointment, but from where to get the appointments for marriage registration, as this year 2008 and also 2009 is booked. So its foolishness to wait. Can the expert help me regarding this?

Most consulates have to deal with a lot of issues including scams, so I won't blame them. First thing you have to do is get all your documents ready... originals and certified copies (or notarized if needed). Second, if it is inconvenience to go in person, retain local attorney.
