I would like to know what to charge per square foot to prime and to finish coat new drywall?

I am bidding to paint interior walls and ceilings in a new house. One coat primer and one coat finish. Both coats will be sprayed and backrolled. What is an average rate to charge per foot for each coat?

Priming and painting by the square foot works well on floors, its fast & easy. 1st new construction residential, if your only painting drywall that's one thing however, if there are many items (windows, doors, trim etc) to paint you need to price each one separately. 2 You need to take into consideration the height of the rooms. 3 Production rates change when colors are different from walls & ceilings. 4 Sheens will make a difference and finally the builder quality will make a huge difference. I would take some time and be sure you know what your able to paint and what material costs will be and don't forget overhead/profit.
