    average velocity
    A rolling ball moves from x1 = 4.0 cm to x2 = -4.2 cm during the time from t1 = 3.2 s to t2 = 6.1 s. What is its average velocity?

    Avg velocity is the

    (total displacement)/(total time)

First of all, read the rules on how to use the "rate this answer" function.

Second of all, read MY answer... all you have to do is figure out total displacement and then figure out the total time it took. If you don't know how to figure out displacement, either Google it or ask "what's a displacement?"

Third of all, forum rules state that we don't do homework problems for you, we simply lead you in the right direction.

You being lazy doesn't have anything to do with it.

Oh, and beggars shouldn't be choosers.

I disagree. You asked specifically for the answer like say "6 cm/s", not the "Answer key". So there. WE DON'T DO YOUR HOMEWORK! and you did not ask the right question.

Isneezefunny INCORRECTLY must have assumed you wanted HELP in doing your homework.

If you want to nit pick, I will too. You can bet, with that as a response, you won't get help from either of us in the future if we recognize the name. When it's batantly obvious that members are insulting us, nobody gives any additional help.
