Air bubbles in toilet what may be wrong?
Hello, it sounds like your sewer is starting to back up, you should have your sewer rootered out. If you have a cleanout outside your home you can check by having someone flush the toilet and watch to see if sewer starts to back up in the line. Good luck---Zeke---
Zeke nailed it! Let me add a bit to his post. When a fixture bubbles at vyou it means that there's backpressure. Backpressure indicates a partial clog downstream from the toilet. Are you on city sewer or a septic tank? If you can locate the house clean out follow Zekes direction and check to to see if the problem's in the sewer line or septic tank. The house clean out will be located the same side the sewer exits your house. By code We placed them not over 18" off the foundation and brought up to grade. Over the years dirt and grass may have built up over it but it's just under the surface. We take a pointy rod and poke in the dirt until we hit the clean out. Let us know what you find. Good luck, TomQuote:
