Water pressure had dropped in the kitchen faucet
    Hi
We are seeing reduced water pressure in the kitchen faucet.
It is fairly new about 18 months old. There is a separate sprayer attachment and it too has lost pressure.

We removed the aerator and did not see any blockage there and even cleaned it and put it back but no improvement in water pressure

Any thoughts (don't know the brand name of the faucet as it is not indicated anywhere)

    Thanks

Hello Fred, shut the supply valves off under the sink, then disconnect the supply lines off the faucet, but leave the supply lines on the shutoff valves. Get a small bucket and run water from each side to check the water pressure to make sure that you have good pressure on both hot and cold. If you do have good pressure then there is debre in the faucet body, connect the supply lines onto the facet again, but leave the shut off valves off. Depending on the brand of faucet will determine how easy it will be to clear the ports of the faucet, but you will need to take out the stem if single handle and spout to get to the diverter and flush out the valve body. Clean the stem and take a rag and hold it over the top of the valve to keep from spraying water all over the place, then slowly turn on the hot to flush out any debre that may be in the valve then repeat this with the cold side, reassemble the faucet and give it shot . Hope this helps you. Get back to us and let us know what happens. Goodluck ---Zeke---
