    Goldfish and black spots!
    What would make a goldfish get black spots? It had one spot when I got it, but now it had more.

    I think it might have a disease, mine have had similar, if you can tomorro go to your local petshop and explain it, they should be able to give you something for it.

    Erm yes like loise1200 its ill mine died because of that so hurry and by the way they sold you an ill fish v. bad!

    Well mine had the same thing a while back, I went to the pet shop they gave me a treatment and the fish lived, so not all fish die. And its louise1200 not loise1200

    thts OK, it's the best thing to do, you could also try typing it up on the internet, just type something like goldfish with black spots, simple, but it might come up wiv an answer for you, goodluck, x x

    I would just like to add that it could be completely normal as well.
    Goldfish, especially common goldfish (feeder fish) are prone to having different stages of black pigment coloration changes during their young development.
