Green card holder traveling to Japan.
Hey guys, I just got my green card and I have a Filipino passport. I plan on traveling to Japan in a few weeks, do I NEED a VISA? Also, I just got married last year, would I have to purchase the plane tickets in my aiden name or married name? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

You need to apply for a visa but you can apply at the Embassy of Japan in US.

Purchase your plane ticket using the name in passport... you will need to present your green card to immigration officer on the return trip.

Thank you. So I would NOT be able to enter Japan without a Visa, even though I have a green card & filipino passport? Also, how long would it take for me to get a Visa? Thanks again.
