I used a cosigner to get my apartment because of my bad credit. I am current on my rent, and have never been late. If I file bankruptcy on other debts but not on my lease, will that impact the cosigner in any way, i.e.. Credit, etc..

No, a cosigner is only responsible for debts he/she actually cosigned.
