Hi I have a 1998 Dodge Neon the Temp. gauge goes off the end when you run the AC. The engine runs normal without the AC on. Has a new thermostat, fluid is full and both fans are running. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

"Goes off the end" HOT, yes? While driving as well as at a stop?
Is it actually overheating or just displaying a high temp?
Is the A/C actually cooling the vehicle's interior?
What are the Hi and Low pressure readings?
This is going to require hands-on diagnosis, me thinks...

I'm wondering if the radiator might be a little clogged or the water pump can't handle it with the AC on?? Thanks George
