How to fix my wireless connection
I need to know how to fix my PC it says that there are no wireless conections available. I have a router hooked to the main computer but it is not showing that anything is even hooked up. I don't know what happened because it was working fine before. How do I fix this?

You mean the wireless on your laptop? The laptop shows no wireless connections available?

The most common answer is the wireless adapter on your laptop has been disabled. This is actually EASY to do since it is a security feature built into most laptops.

On my laptop, it's a specially marked button above my FKeys. I just press it to turn my wireless off and on. On my daughter's laptop, it's a button on the side of her laptop. Hers is in a position that causes hers to disable accidentally much more often than mine.

Other laptops use the special blue FN key to do it... on the lower left of your laptop keyboard. There are matching color-coded functions on your F-Keys across the top of the keyboard. One of them may be a key for disabling the wireless.

    Anyway, that's my main thought.

Look at your network connections, and make sure there's a wireless connection listed, if none, create one through the wizard. If a connection is listed, open up its properties, and make sure you check the box for an icon in the tray. Enable, and see if it renews itself.
