Power outage ceiling fan doesn't work
There was a power outage last night and 2 of my 4 fans does not work. The 2 that won't turn on were off when the power went out and will not turn on. The other 2 are OK. They were on when to power went out. What do I do?

    Hello triciab

If you already checked if there is power for these two fans :

It sounds like the processors in these fans have to be reset (if they are of the remote-control type).

Maybe your remote control allows you to reset the processors. Check that please !

Another possible option : take all power off for these fans for some 15 minutes. Than restore and see if the problem has disappeared.

There may have been voltage spikes on the lines when the power fell away and/or when it was restored, causing the processors be in need of a reset.

    Success !

    :)

Credendovidis is wrong about the majority of his post, but he hit one thing on the head:

    Are they remote fans?
