How to file a 1099 self employed taxes and taxes in Georgia
    Hi everyone .

I had a few tax related questions .

My husband is pretty much self employed , he is a permanent resident of the united states etc. we live in Georgia . We wanted to know how do we file a self employed tax paper and how do we figure the precentages we are a family of 4 . With 2 small children 6 and 18 months. Don't know if that makes a diffrence tax wise .

I have no clue what to do as I always worked with w2 and had the employer do all of this . So any help would be highly appreciated . Also once we figure out how to file the tax papers where do we send the money to do we send monthly quarterly etc. and or wait until the end of the year any englightenment on the subject would be great

We are new to this so I have absolutely no clue so to say we are fishes out of water . Thanks for your help

If you husband is self-employed, he will receive Form 1099 to report income paid to him by those who are paying for his services.

You will file Form 1040 with Schedules C and SE.

If you are a detail-oriented person who can read and follow instructions well, you can file these forms yourself, especially with tax software.

If not, then go use a competent tax professional.
