Is it legal for an 18 year old to date a 15 year old in Oregon?
So we are just under 3 years difference and my mother with full custody of me is fine with but my dad doesn't know.

There are no laws that prevent dating. The laws govern sexual activity. In most states the age of consent is 16, so the 18 yr old could be in big trouble if sexual activity occurs.

However, on a development basis, an 18 yr old has very little in common with a 15 yr old. The 18 yr old is preparing to enter college or start working. The 15 yr old is still all about fun.

I question your mother's agreement with this, but I suspect she is doing so because she think it will blow over quickly.

Yes, sad mothers are not being mothers for some reason now adays.

But since you mentioned the 3 age difference I will assume that there is an idea that sex will happen within this "dating" if so, the boy can go to jail for rape and have to be registed as a sex offender the rest of his life.

I asked the same question before. I was in a relationship with a 15 year old and I was 18. I was going to be 19 in a week and she wasn't going to be 16 for 4 months. I looked all around the internet and I found out that there is a Romeo & Juliet law that allows someone to have sexual relations with each other within a 5 year age difference unless over 21 or 14. Then otherwise if you are 20, you can legally date a 15 year old. But I don't agree with that being OK. The law was created to keep people off the sex offenders list for something so small like that. When there are much bigger problems. Trust me though, this is true what I am telling you but You and the 15 year old are on 2 very different levels right now.

You asked this same question in April when you were only 14. As you can see the answers haven't changed at all.
