Why was Kerlone recalled?

Thanks to a retired physician who did research for me, he found out the following information regarding Kerlone. 8/1 more than two dozen drugs were recalled by Actavis who makes Kerlone because of manufacturing irregularities at its NJ plant. Actavis phone # 908-659-1894 you can call periodically and see when available. The drug is distributed through Sanofi Aventis 800-981-2491. The recall was only at the pharmacy level. Another generic betaxolol is available made by KVK-Tech, which I am currently taking.
