Hire a PI is one option, in court show life style and assests and have her explain it to the court.
You can either fork out the money to hire a PI and have their findings brought into court or fork out the money for a good lawyer that will have her tax information brought into court.
Another expensive route is to ferret out monies using forensic accounting. You would have to get a hold of everything including any banks she is using. Document her lifestyle and related expenses. How far off do you think it is ?
She just bought a $190,000 condo and claim she is only making 3300.00 a month.
I just bought a $150,000 condo and barely got in making 4550.00 a month.
So I know she has to be hiding money.
You have to be able to prove it however. You have gotten some good advice you might want to look into.
Sorry to say this but if that is the only 'Proof' you have then you don't know for sure she's hiding money. There are lots of different loans out there; may her loan if different from yours. There's even one where you can pay interest only at first. Not a good idea in my mind, but it's there and lots of people get that kind of loan.
She may even of had the company count the child support as income, where as you could have it taken from your monthly income. Also the down payments could have been different. Different credit and/or outstanding balances on credit cards and in bank accounts and such go toward getting a loan. I don't have to tell you all the things that go into getting the loan, you went through it too.
I will tell you this though... here in Virginia Beach on $3300 a month, she could get a loan for just over $200,000. The payments would be $1500 a month - providing she has good credit and owes little to nothing on credit cards.
To answer your question. You have to have a lot of proof before you go to court. A good lawyer could check and get some information including tax returns for the past couple of years. If she's not claming the money on the tax returns you can't prove anything a judge will listen to. A judge won't assume that she is lying to the government by withholding information on her tax returns.
