    Tile Bathroom Floor
Hi, my husband just recently Tiled our bathroom floor, and he just grouted the tile yesterday, how long will it need to dry before being able to get wet (like if we use the bathtub/shower) and also is it necessary to seal the grout? He says it's not but I have read on the internet otherwise? What does sealing vs. not sealing it do?

    24hrs to get wet.
You should seal the grout. Especially if its light colored grout. It helps prevent staining of the grout from dirt, oils, shampoos, soaps, etc. Tell your husband they have sealer in an aresol can called Stand and Seal. Took me 1 minute to seal my bath floor. Just stand and spray. I put on 2 coats.
Just have plenty of ventilation when using it. ;)

OK, thanks. How long does it take for the sealant to dry?

It dries in about 2-3 minutes depending how heavy you spray it on. Walk on it when its dry. It seals the grout but evaporates off the tile surface and anything else that gets sprayed.
