    Could my dog be lonely?
The kids are back in school, I'm at work. The dog is back in the doggy gate. Before leaving for the day, we throw her toys, and chewys into her small room but when we get home everything is in its place, nothings been moved. She hasent even eaten her favorite cookie. Would it be appropriate to put on some music or something? K.C, is a terrior, about 1yr.

As harsh as paulspc's answer sounds he is right.

You have gone from the dog having constant attention to nothing at all.

Does she cry when you leave?

I leave the TV on for my dog when we leave. She even has her own favorite channel. I found that out when I changed the channels so she could have something different to listen to, my neighbors told me which channels she liked because she would howl if she didn't like the channel I chose. Silly dog. Radio will work too. The added advantage to having your TV or radio on is someone will think there is someone home. A very good safety feature.
