I have a 10 1/2 year old Shi Tzu who has always asked to go outside. In the last few weeks, he's been peeing on the carpet, wakes up at 3-5 in the morning and pees on carpet. Took him to the vet and they did blood and urine tests and everything came back fine. Is he just getting old? What could the problem be?:confused:

My grandparent's dachshund started doing this when she got older. Its just that they are getting older and can't control their bladders as much anymore. You know how old people need depends diapers sometimes. Well your doggy needs to go out earlier in the morning now and maybe more often.
