Passport for a 5yr old without bio fathers consent
I'm in australia, dose anyone know how I would go about a passport for my 5yr old son without his bio fathers consent? There has been demestic violence restraining order, that has now exp. He has also not seen him for over 4yrs and never wanted anything to do with him, he has always refused to pay child support. I can't afford lawyers etc, but I would like to "take away his rights" etc if I can too, only because he is VERY nasty and vindictive and if he were to come and take my son it would be hard to get him back and my little boy would be so scared because he dos not even know him, he only seen him once when he was 5 months old. I'm really wanting to take my son on a holiday with my partner so need the passport. Thanks for any help

    Hello jessebearz

You need legal assistence here. Most universities with a law department offer a free or low cost service. Check that out. They can provide you with proper advice and/or help you through the process.

Personally I have no idea what the procedure for such matters is in Australia. Sorry !

    Good luck !
