    TN state driving requirements,
    Can someone PLEASE help me?!

I have a driving class tomorrow at 9am. I was told by the driving school that I needed the Tennesse State driving requirements, which are a 12hr course, prime for life thing. I called TN (my probation officer) on last Thurs, she told me she couldn't fax anything, and told me to look it up on the State of TN website. I have been trying to find it for days now, and can't find anything. I can't miss this appt. and I was told not to show up without them.

    Thanks SOO much!

Sorry lived for years in TN and have not the slightest idea what you are talking about.

Is it something to do with a class you had to take as part of your probation??

There are driving classes to get out of speeding, there are all sorts of classes some courts will allow.

    More info will help

Yes, I got a DUI in TN. My probation officer said I had to take the driving class either in TN, which will be 3 months from now, or I could do it here in SC. So, I made an appt for here in SC. And SC says they need the Tn state requirements for a DUI. My PO says it's a 12hr course, called Prime for Life. And to look it up on the State of TN website... I have been on their website for days now and can find NOTHING about it.

Don't know where you've been looking and this is probably too late for you but here it is, straight from the Government site:

"PRIME FOR LIFE (PRI)—A 20-hour research-based program for DUI offender education that significantly reduces the rate of recidivism. This course presents the state's DUI laws and up-to-date multi-disciplinary research to assist each student in assessing their personal level of health risk for substance abuse problems. Each student determines their own level of risk and develops an “Individual Risk Reduction Action Plan” prescribed for their specific level of risk. Courses are available in Spanish for Hispanic clients, as well as “Women Only” classes."

Apparently this is a very new concept to reduce the number of DUI's.
