Hi, ang102863!
I'm not really sure about the particulars concerning it. Am interested in doing it myself. I do know that there a lot of information out there on the Internet concerning doing it. Please click on the following search.
How to etch on glass - Google Search
Hopefully, one of our art friends on here will have had some experience doing it. With all that she already knows how to do, I would suspect that jrebel7 might have some ideas.
Thanks for asking the question! It opens up a whole new avenue of possibilities for discussion here!
Thanks!
You should go to Delphi.com. They specialize in glass artwork of all kinds. If you want to try with your dremel, use the little diamond headed bits (different shaped heads). The ones with the smaller shanks are not diamond headed. They will work, but prone to more mistakes and they take longer. You can buy single diamond headed bits. You can also use the little stones, but soak them in water first. Don't use the coarse ones, they are too rough. Use the light green ones or the light blue ones. They are smooth and won't gouge the glass. Either way, soak them first in water, and leave them soaking until you are finished with them.
