2000 ford f250 diesel manual transmission issue
My clutch quit working, no signs of slipping or nothing. I was told it was probably the slave cylinder so I replaced it and nothing so I replaced the master cylinder and it still didn't work. So I took it to a local repair shop he pulled the tranny and found the arm that holds the trow out bearing was broken, so he replaced the clutch and arm ($1300.00) now it is back together and it still doesn't work. So he replaced the slave cylinder again and now is going to replace the master cylinder again. I don't understand what would cause the arm to break and why with only 69,000 miles. I have had or seen vehicles with a lot more miles not have issues. Something doesn't seem right, and the bill keeps adding up and it still is not fixed.
