Somebody help me please.I have had 6 clear positive hpt but I had a blood test on Friday and that was negative I feel pregnant, feeling sick in the morning, peeing a lot more, frequent headaches and sore breasts I was due on, on sundayhave not even spotted or had any pain that I am about to bleed

Is it possible that I am pregnant and the blood test was taken too early??

My last period was on the 3/08/08

Please help me x

Umm... 6 positives means you are pregnant.
A blood test does not tell you if you are pregnant or not...

How old are you anyways? Sounds like you're 15-17 years old

It is very possible that you are. Have you been to your family doctor or to a county health department to confirm

Thank you for the compliment I am actually 23 years old so if I am pregnant why is the doctors blood test showing negative?

Yes I had a blood test done on Friday and that was negative

All right. A blood test can show pregnancy results but... 6 strikes on HPT... plus the sick feelings

Here:

It may be the urine tests were more sensitive. What was your doctor's response to the blood test being negative? Are they going to do a quantitative test? This would show an actual level of hcg and not just a positive or negative. When did you take the urine tests? They likely will repeat the test in the next week or so for confirmation.

Same situation here, three years ago. I took hpt and they were positive and then went to the gyno and it was negative. I thought that the blood work would be more accurate and that I was in the safe zone. No such luck. I waited for my period to come and it didn't. I took another hpt test and it was positive, went back to the gyno and surprise I am six weeks preggos. Wait until you are about six weeks to go back to the doctor, but just to be on the safe side quit drinking, smoking, doing drugs (if you do), and take some prenatal vitamins.
