Hi: I am running via voice 7 on xp home it was working OK. But has started showing problems. Showing two warning notes, Problem: an error has occurred (smapirc=97) identifer is busy.The second is a red circle with an x,voicecentre critical error,communicating with speech reconiser.Smconnect speaker is busy.rc97. I was bummed to see that apparently Nuance now owns or manages both Via Voice AND Dragon... and is dedicating their support to Dragon rather than Via Voice.

PS - I did find one "outside IBM/Nuance" post with a potential solution:

... unfortunately it may involve wiping out your voice file.
