95 civic that has no spark. What tells the distributor to fire, and where does get it's signal from? Just put in new distributor, among everything else except the main relay, and it will be here tues. I can't take much more. HELP

The ECM directs the Ignition Control Module (ICM) when to fire. If your CEL comes on and goes off after 2 seconds, when the igntion switch is turned to ON, a complete new distributor (with new ICM and coil) should solve the problem.
