Anywhoozers, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, do's, don't's, and such about it's use.

Is it okay to use clearasil before using silver water?

Also, was $25 for a 16oz bottle a good deal?

$20. To $35. Is a good price range. I never recommend it because too much is not good. I am not even sure the dosages they suggest are safe. Toxicity of too much use can result in blue skin. Taking it internally can bind in your system if the particles are too big or too much. That is why it is better to use it sparingly. Better silver comes in clearer bottles and ionized water.

Blue skin? Whoa! I don't plan to drink it, just use topically. I think mine is safe. It is ionized water, and came in a glass bottle. I was told to use it twice daily, too much?

If your skin starts getting a tint cut back to maybe once a day or once every other day maybe even less.

It was me who recommended the silver water. If you use a solution of 10% there is no possible way it could tint your skin blue. I have made the silver water in solutions much stronger than 10% and have had NO PROBLEMS whether externally or internally from taking the silver water or using it topically. You don't use clearasil with the silver water. You use the silver water by itself. Then pat dry your face where you used the silver water. It takes about a week or more to totally kill the facial bacteria.

NoHelp4U - I have been using silver water for years with NO adverse reactions. I don't know where you get the idea that if you apply silver water to your skin your skin will turn blue. Please. There is no such thing. Answer me this question... why didn't my skin turn blue when I would take more than 2 cups of 15% silver water daily internally for a month?

How do I know it's 10%? It doesn't say anywhere on the label.

Just so you know different people react different to silver. Just because a dose didn't turn someone else's skin blue doesn't mean it won't turn your skin blue. The tint is irreversible as well once you turn blue you will not turn back. The problems is called argyria. Also there is no medical proof that silver works. Seriously don't do it.

You can take it just watch it. It does have good benefits.

So is regular use a bad idea?

No start with following the directions and if you feel like you need to cut back for whatever reasons then do so. I take a lot of vitamins and I am to the point I can tell when I need to cut back from the bottles recommended one tablet a day. Like my B complex when I take it daily I get to the point I have so much energy at night that I have to cut back to maybe three a week sometimes. I take magnesium at night and it is good for regulating your heart but I can tell when I need to cut back and when I need to increase again.
Just get to know your system and how what you take effects it.

Like I said in my other post about this I would use this topically twice a day on a cotton ball. Usually the commercially available silver water is 10% solution. I have a PPM meter (parts per million) that I use to detrmine the percentage of the solution. I have made solutions up to 20% and have had NO adverse effects - either topically or internally.

NoHelp - I would have had SOME kind of adverse effects by now - some 6 years later, now wouldn't I? I really get annoyed when someone who ingests way too many vitamins puts down something that actually works. I'm not downing your taking vitamins for this and for that am I? No. Then you need to stop downing someone else's recommendations simply because YOU don't understand it. Sometimes taking too many vitamins can actually make you sick if you take too much of one vitamin/mineral without knowing it should be taken in combination with other minerals. Sorry. I just do not agree with you about someone's skin turning blue from taking so little of the silver water externally or internally. You need to do some more reading about silver water and it's benefits to accurately make ANY determination about it's efficacy in the human body.

Better silver water does NOT come in clear bottles as fresh silver water can be affected by light so a dark colored bottle is best. When I make my own silver water I try and use it within a two week period as it is freshest then. I keep it in a dark cabinet also.

Also, why would NASA use silver to purify the water onboard space shuttles if it were at all toxic? Or why would commercial airlines use silver to purify their water also? I guess they want to kill any bacteria present and make the drinking water safe. Turning your skin blue is NOT caused by ingesting of silver water. Sorry. I don't buy that for one second and neither should you CMomma.

Just because you don't have any adverse effects doesn't mean that someone else wouldn't have adverse effects with a lower dose.

The evidence these people use for silver is never tested evidence. It is always I drink silver and I'm healthy. For that kind of evidence I could say Coca-cola does the same thing for me. I've haven't been sick in the last 15 years drinking Coca-cola(true but has nothing to do with coke). I drink 36oz at least a day. You should probably drink the same to get the same health benefits. There are very few conspiracies and they never contain a product that is cheap and easy to use because there will always be people who use a product regardless of the given risk. If those people really were getting an amazing benefit you would know about it.
