We have a pair of 5 month old Rottie puppies and the momma. The female puppy died early yesterday with no visible wounds. The night before she was very withdrawn and would not eat. Today the male puppy is acting withdrawn and will not eat, only drink water. Our neighbor has been threatening to kill them so they stay in a dog lot. We also have another dog who stays out. He & the momma are not showing any signs of anything being wrong. What should we do there are no 24 hr vets around us and with the holiday I am worried he may not make it until Tuesday.

What do you mean threatening to kill them so they 'stay' in the dog lot?
He may be mourning the death of the puppy especially if he just stopped eating and drinking after it died. Was the one that died eating and drinking and active before hand?
