    Income Statement
    Are checking accounts listed on the Balance Sheet or Income Statement? I think it's the Income Statement. I'm I right? If not, why not? Please help me understand. Thanks!

    They would be the balance sheet. Checking accounts are essentially cash accounts. These are assets reported on the balance sheet.
